LISA-NL

The Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) is a European space mission to measure gravitational waves from merging black holes, compact binary stars and other exotic objects in the Universe. Through the LISA-NL consortium, The Netherlands is one of the partners in the international LISA-consortium that contribute to the science and technology of the mission.

Technology

LISA will detect gravitational waves using interferometry. Technology is being developed to be able to use this technique in space.
